Fishmeal (Feed Ingredients Made By Fish)

Fishmeal is used in one or more fish as raw materials, through oil, dehydration, crushing and processing of high protein feed raw materials. The world's fishmeal producers are mainly Peru, Chile, Japan, Denmark, the United States, the former Soviet Union, Norway and so on, in which Peru and Chile's exports accounted for about 70% of the total trade volume. According to the World FAO (2013), China's fishmeal annual production of about 1.2 million tons, about half of the total consumption of domestic fishmeal, mainly in Shandong province (about 50%% of the total output of domestic fishmeal), and Zhejiang province accounted for about 25%, followed by Hebei, Tianjin, Fujian, Guangxi and other provinces [1]. In the late 20th century, China imports about 700,000 tons of fishmeal annually, about 80% from Peru, from Chile imports less than 10%, in addition from the United States, Japan, Southeast Asian countries also have a small amount of imports. Although fish meal is still an important animal protein to add feed, but our country feed workers have been exploring the low fishmeal diet and no fishmeal diet, fermented soybean meal is the best alternative to the present.
